Screen black out #170

What version of ElectricSleep are you using?

On what android device and android version? Samsung Transform and 2.2.2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using the "Sleep" button
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I was expecting the screen shuts off but instead it dims and I can't access my 
screen anymore
So I had to reboot my phone that takes forever and is just a hassle

Please provide any additional information below.
Uninstalling if this doesn't get fixed

Your phone requires that the screen be kept on to record sleep. It is dimmed 
and black to save power. I need to make it more clear that this is intended, 
and that you can exit the dim mode by pressing back or home. If those buttons 
don't work, then this is a defect.
