Message tests #67

I think we could merge these tests for now. We will however still try to find a way to further test the functionality that depends on solid authentication.

It says "coverage decreased" due to having deleted two tests (created in this same branch) that tested functions that do not exist anymore in the last commit. Overall coverage should not have decreased compared to the master branch.
