1.6.6b Crashes / Quits upon Launch on Lion 10.7.5 #187

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to launch Soundflower application
2. Same problem after un-installing and reinstalling and restarting.
3. Changed permissions on .kext file to "read only" as some suggested this 
worked for other versions. App still quits on launch. The icon appears in menu 
bar for 2 seconds then disappears. Soundflower does not show up in system audio 
settings.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
App does not launch and neither shows up in system prefs.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.6.6b and Lion 10.7.5

Please provide any additional information below.
I've tried 5 of the latest versions of Soundflower, and all have their own bugs 
with this version of Lion. One of them says "Soundflower not installed" in the 
menu bar drop down. Others show up in menu bar, but when trying to click any of 
the outputs, it quits. Earlier versions work, but output extremely distorted 
sound constantly. Desperately need a working version with Lion - PLEASE FIX!

any news regarding this bugs - i have the same issue ..under 10.7.5
