Cannot find value map "LSI RAID BBU & LD Status" used for item prototype "BBU state on adapter:{#ADAPTER_ID}" of discovery rule "RAID discovery bbu" on "Template LSI RAID". #14

Hi,

I added the value mappings manually for my to be monitored host (the only way I know of in Zabbix 5, you can only import value mapping XML files for templates, but the template is not yet uploaded) and I get when uploading the template:

Cannot find value map "LSI RAID BBU & LD Status" used for item prototype "BBU state on adapter:{#ADAPTER_ID}" of discovery rule "RAID discovery bbu" on "Template LSI RAID".

What am i doing wrong? Should I change the value mappings elsewhere?

I think I resolved this by editing the template XML file and replaces entries like:

LSI RAID BBU & LD Status

with:

I can then import the template, then add the value mappings manually and next import the original template (with value mappings) so the template is updated with the value mappings. Importing the template with value mappings deactivated does not seem to work, not sure why.
