I tried to reconcile Zeri’s artist “Ferrari Giuseppe” (fifth in the list). When entering the “Confirm artist matchings” page I find 4 suggested matches on the right.
It would be extremely helpful if, among the data displayed in the suggested matches boxes, also the preferred “Biography” of the Getty’s record was also included. This strip puts together information such as role, nationality, and dates and is therefore perfect for disambiguation. e.g.: “Italian cabinetmaker, born 1848, active 1880” for Giovanni Fontana (http://vocab.getty.edu/ulan/500017586)
If not possible, at least the preferred ROLE (cabinetmaker in the case) should be displayed in the box.
