Home page similarity images broken links #477

In the explore similarity part of the home page there is something odd happening with image broken links.

@spykoulouris for me it seems that they are okay. But, this happens for the same reason that other images do not appear in the platform. The issue is that the images are not at the pharos machine and we retrieve them from external sources. So in this case is the external machines have networking issues then we will always have these problems. @lklic had suggested to speak with the providers to put the images to our machine, but i think this has other issues (copyrights e.c.t.).
