Fixes db connection issue.

Some dev environments require localhost while others require the db name. Left the options as a comment.

This branch address the following issues: #1 #2 #7 #8 #10 We upgraded the cryptographic packages and re-wrote the server with TypeScript. Changes also implement improved design patterns.
