Whenever I start Artemis, after a few minutes (seems random in duration) the tray icon disappears from the top bar. Looking at System Monitor I can still see Artemis.UI.Linux running (as well as the animations) but the tray is not shown. The only way to make Artemis show up again is to kill it from System Monitor and start it again.
