Auto night mode not working

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Auto night mode is not working for me quite a bit, but I can't seem to find any 
particular reason or easy to reproduce steps. It just stays in day mode. I've 
tried clearing memory and restarting but it doesn't make any difference. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Galaxy S2 4.0.3

Have you selected And Bible/Menu/More/Settings/Night mode/Automatic?

And Bible only changes mode on page refreshes, not instantly.

This feature relies on a functional light meter.  Please download an app like 
AndroSensor to check if your light meter is working correctly or not.
