elementRef type #149

This is more of a question - 1.0 xsd defines elementRef as type qname:

<xs:attribute name="elementRef" type="xs:QName"/>

typically bpmn2 impls define element ids as string or id types. This difference 
makes it somewhat inconvenient for implementors to deal with - are there any 
plans/thoughts of changing the type of elementRef to more generic type?
