Suggestion: Hypo protect; Automated TT when treating low BG to avoid rebound lows #115

Borrowing a feature from AAPS, when treating BG below urgent low setting, there is a high TT automatically applied (user defined value and duration) to prevent over correcting and resulting in another low.

Typically this treatment would be a fast acting carb and likely to spike BG back up into range. If the UAM sees spike it may overcorrect

Support this feature request. On AAPS I’ve got an automation that if BG is < 3.9 and reducing further, set a TT of 6.5 for 90 mins.

Middleware can change targets (and all other settings) but doesn’t have a timer (which is why the 90 minutes expiration currently would not work). [Extract from Discord discussion]
