Fleet Mode Error: Not found #79

Hi Demogorgon Asmodeous,

I used the app and switched to the fleet mode, it showing "wating for you to login" but the website showing "Error: Not found"

Now stuck in here.

I just tested fleetmode for myself and it is working fine for me. When you start fleet mode are you trying to use peld-fleet.com?

It may be helpful to provide me with your PELD logs. Could you please follow these instructions so I can take a look at them:

  1. Open Windows File Explorer
  2. Put %APPDATA%\PELD into your File Explorer navigation bar
  3. Drag the PELD.log file from that folder into a reply to this issue

Then I will check out the log file and get back to you.

Ah, thank you for the screenshot. That does help. I'll look into what is happening on there as well.

I've found the issues. Some of the EVE ESI endpoints that peld-fleet.com depended on to function properly are no longer available. I've tried just pointing it to the new versions of those endpoints, but it appears some of the functionality of those endpoints are not the same.

This is going to take a bit more work to rewrite some of the peld-fleet code in order to accommodate these differences. Frankly, I'm not sure it's worth the effort considering how little traffic peld-fleet has gotten over the years, but I'll look into the level of effort needed to make this work soon and make a decision based off of that.

I'll leave this issue open for now to track this work.

Yes, I suppose I should update this ticket.

Given that fleet mode was very seldom used, that CCP keeps removing functionality from ESI, and that I haven't been subbed to EVE in years, I took the peld-fleet.com servers offline. I'll keep fleet mode functionality in the client in case someone endeavors to host/fix their own instance of peld-fleet on a different domain, but I'll update the readme to indicate the primary site is offline.
