Space between sentences #1135

Open dakota1616 opened 11 months ago

dakota1616 commented 11 months ago

How can I make it so that there is a space when going to the next line? (tookwas - *took was - example) error 1

erro 2

Finikk commented 11 months ago

It's always like this, but if the translation doesn't go bad, don't worry

Blu3train commented 11 months ago

Try the FlushDelayStringSpacing option. It doesn't always work, but I just did it to try and fix this problem. https://github.com/Artikash/Textractor/issues/868#issuecomment-1492428212 Remember to disable it when you don't need it or it may add spaces when they are not welcome.

If that doesn't work you can try using the Lua script you find here. It doesn't work 100% but it helps to improve text separation. https://github.com/Artikash/Textractor/issues/727#issuecomment-1027510678

Try the new texthook.dll you find in "Alpha build archive" Implemented Bishop engine hook

dakota1616 commented 10 months ago

thanks the new hook its fantastic, but removes a character immediately after ending a paragraph. gate gate 2

Blu3train commented 10 months ago

I quickly read several sentences but I could not find the problem you reported. Save the exact point that gives you the problem and then archive the entire SAVE folder and upload it here and see if the character appears to me too. Isn't it that you left some extension that generates the problem? Did you remove them all except the translator and extra newlines?

dakota1616 commented 10 months ago

savee remove characters at the end of the sentence

savee2

dakota1616 commented 10 months ago

save2 save2233

I use the 2nd hook because the rest present the sentence separation problem, but the 2nd hook removes the immediate letter at the end of the sentence

Blu3train commented 10 months ago

But does it happen to you from the beginning or after a certain point? I started the VN and in the first screens the text is correct. If it happens to you from the beginning then it is due to the different operating system. I'm doing the tests with win7

dakota1616 commented 10 months ago

imagen imagen From the beginning

dakota1616 commented 10 months ago

Could you send me photos of your text capture, and your texturizer settings please

I modified the filter to see if it is now compatible with your OS. Update to the latest texthook.dll version.

P.S. Isn't it like you're using text-manipulating extensions? Use only the translator, Extra Window and Extra Newlines and nothing else (I already asked you but you didn't answer me)

dakota1616 commented 10 months ago

Sorry for not responding, if I only use the translator and the extra windows. PS: the problem persists. imagen imagen imagen

dakota1616 commented 10 months ago

where dowload the game? share the link please, maybe it's a translation patch problem.

imagen imagen Bishop's hook introduces an extra letter at the end of the sentence in the native Japanese games, but in the only English patched game it removes a letter at the end of the paragraph.

What is the name of this VN that I try it on?

its Mesu Kyoushi 4.

Blu3train commented 10 months ago

Mesu Kyoushi 4, it works fine for me image

Blu3train commented 10 months ago

Maybe it's the fonts you use. In textractor I set this image

the problem continues,I used the configuration that you sent me.Could you send me a copy of your textractor folders that you use, because it is rare that it works for you and not for me.

Blu3train commented 10 months ago

If you downloaded this textractor.exe update you have the same things as I have https://github.com/Artikash/Textractor/issues/868#issuecomment-1492428212 But at this point I believe the difference is I have Win7 and you have Win10

dakota1616 commented 10 months ago

imagen in your textrator you get this?

Blu3train commented 10 months ago

With the Bishop engine usually not, but it depends if a VN has a different version and that message means a hook didn't work. Does this happen to you with all VN Bishops or with one in particular? If so, write me the name I'll try.

Instead, can you confirm that with the VN Mesu Kyoushi 4, the hexadecimal code of the hook is the same as the one I highlighted? image

Blu3train commented 10 months ago

Finally I found the bug. It was a fix to a library function that I had fixed locally but not fixed here on github. Update to the latest texthook.dll version.

dakota1616 commented 10 months ago

works perfectly, thank you very much.
