Update the deepl extension to the latest version. The one distributed with the installation no longer works. https://github.com/Artikash/Textractor/issues/868#issuecomment-1439128738 Verify that Google Chrome file location is correctly set to the set browser executable. Uncheck the Hide Chrome window option so you can see what happens

I updated the deepl extension and also made sure the app was set to the correct file. unfortunately it doesn't look like it works. tried unchecking hide google chrome and what happened was when i pressed connect the google chrome opened so that means it works right?
If the extension now reports ConnectedState, it means it has connected to the browser and should be fine. At this point when textrator displays text in the source language you should see the browser go to the DeepL web page and translate the sentence
Devtools does not allow me to translate keep getting errors ive unchecked hide home and it still doesn't work if checked th crhome multiple times
I updated my computer and discovered that with win10 and win11 with the updated version of the browser the "Hide Chrome window" option no longer worked. I have released the "DevTools DeepL Translate" extension with the option fixed. Even if from what you write your problem could be something else, it's still worth a try. https://github.com/Artikash/Textractor/issues/868#issuecomment-1439128738
when opening textractor and hooking a new visual novel, the translation does not work because the status says connectingFailed. How do you fix it?
