Not finding hooks for AGES 7.0 #268

Installed an all-ages repack of the steam Muv-Luv release, not sure if that could be a deciding factor. Anyway, no useful hooks found. Trying "Search for specific text", it finds a few hooks with Japanese text I want, cool. A few minutes (seconds?) later found hooks become obsolete and I have to repeat the search.

Heard you like keeping track of what engines Textractor can and can't work with, so here's one. Unless it's not just me being silly with a malware repack.

The trick for this novel, is searching when a monologue is there.

Is you search: [Takeru] Hello

Textractor will get only the "Hello" text, and the next sentences will be incompletes or garbage text.

But if you search

"I want to buy a juice" (Monologue)

Textractor will get complete sentences. Sometimes it stop working (not getting text), try again and you'll get the good one.

Yeah, I've noticed the same tendencies, was only a bit worried on one scene so far where it dropped hooks thrice in a row, otherwise it was good enough for me. Thanks for confirming, that helps a bit.

Noted. Not high priority since searching for text seems acceptably reliable, but will investigate more if more games come out with this engine.
