This is expected and intended; we introduced a short delay after the exit command is entered and after the exit button is pressed, to make the exit process more graceful and less abrupt.

To balance smooth transitions with usability, I recommend keeping the delay under 1 second or providing users with an option to bypass it for a quicker exit.
