Hello,

what do you think about using a font, which provides some LCD digits?

I think it would fit to your theme. Here are some listed.

nice idea, but given the font size they come up very tiny, which looses the nice looks of the digit effect... =/

A common alternative is the usage of images, but I guess, that scales even worse ... I'll have a look for better rendering/scaling fonts.
