Android is a great opportunity for blind people to work as app developers.
Actually Talkback does not allow blind programmers to check the views that
appear effectivly on the screen.
I know that a blind write the activity layout into a xml file, but a blind do
not knows if that layout is showed effectivly as
him wants. I suggest to add some functions to improve the work
of blind developers.
My suggestions are to add a way to get views name, coordinate
and dimension of views, foreground and background colors of
views etc.. All infos that are much important for a developer.
Could be showed into a list when, for example, when the user tap
3 times on the object or with long tap or in other manner. These
functions could be activated from Talkback settings page.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Please provide any additional information below.
