Project PLAN:

Objective: For our final project, we have decided to create an extension to our existing journal feature and Zen-Garden game on our mental health site. This extension aims to enhance user experience and provide additional tools for mental well-being. We will integrate this extension into our group's shared repository.

Keeping each other in Check: Forums and Discussion Boards: A place for users to share experiences, tips, and support each other. Peer Support Groups: Facilitated groups for users with similar mental health goals or challenges.

Planning and Research: Provide ongoing support for users. Continuously gather feedback and make improvements. Plan for future updates and feature expansions based on user needs.

Key Features:

Enhanced Journal Feature: Prompts and Suggestions: Daily or weekly writing prompts to encourage consistent journaling and provide guidance.

Advanced Zen-Garden Game: Customizable Gardens: Users can personalize their Zen gardens with a variety of plants, rocks, and decorations.

First check-in: Friday 25th Final check-in: Tue 28th We will use 2D iteration within our journal feature. We will create rows and tables to simulate a grid-like layout with key words/posts in the journal. To create this iteration we will have a loop create the table.

First check-in: Friday 25th Final check-in: Tue 28th Additionally, in the zen-garden game we will implement a sorting feature. This sorting feature will sort out and have specific places to place the emotions within the garden. We will also have the list work correlating to the emotions within the gird and show the count of every emotion. The emotions list will iterate and change every time an emotion is added.

Implement changes and add to big group project: Wed 29th We still have errors we are facing since integrating to the group repo. This includes a runtime error. Arushi will focus on zen-garden game, and Ananya will focus on the journal. This includes the game looking different on the group repo frontend versus on our own personal frontend.

Through this plan, we will be able to showcase our skills that we learned this year, while also learning new skills. We are excited to learn about algorithms and implement them into the project we have worked on for the past trimester.
