Broken with Kodi 14 + MAME

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Install kodibuntu-14.0~helix_amd64.iso on Intel NUC
2. sudo apt-get install mame
3. Install RCB 2.0.17 from Kodi Programs -> "Get More ..." menu
4. Go through initial RCB setup, adding a MAME library only

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The import / scrape dialog does not render correctly (missing text on options - 
see attached screenshot).
It only tries to use 1 broken data source by default, so no MAME game info or 
artwork is added.

Trying to launch any MAME game, the resolution changes briefly and it then 
returns to the menu (MAME games do not launch successfully - I'm not sure where 
the logs are kept for this).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

RCB 2.0.17 on Kodibuntu / Kodi 14

Test with both default Confluence and Aeon Knox skins with same result.

Got launching of ROMs to work using emulatorParams -ad alsa "%ROM%" but there 
are still issues with missing text in various RCB menus. Not possible to select 
alternative scrapers that work in the UI.

Same here. Settings menu items are missing, screenshots are white boxes.
