Can we add a functionality of update m1n1 #142

Since the m1n1 is frequently updating, providing support for GPU and audio, would it be possible to add an option for replacing the current m1n1 with the latest one? I redo the installing to get to the latest GPU driver version of m1n1.

It is, I thought I could replace the boot.bin and reuse the script, but it said the volume is not Paired. Then I did the reinstallation with my Asahi Linux backed up and restored. Shouldn't it be have a better workflow just for updating the m1n1?

You do not need to update m1n1 stage 1 except in rare cases. m1n1 stage 2 is updated by the distribution. There is no need to reinstall to get new features, or do anything from the installer. Just update your packages.

If and when we have a major update that affects stage 1 and where users need to reinstall, or where we want users to upgrade their macOS stub version (which would be related), I'll add it to the installer. Until then, there's no need for this feature.

My fault, I should unlock the disk first then I can run correctly image

Another question, how can I replace the m1n1 with local bootable version without starting proxy? image
