How to switch from KDE to GNOME properly? This command's output doesn't have GNOME option: $ dnf group list -v --available | grep desktop (from https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/switching-desktop-environments/)

I'm curious about this too. I can't imagine uninstalling and reinstalling the whole OS with the gnome option is the best way to do this

Thinking this too...

There should be GNOME Desktop Environment (gnome-desktop) (I see that on Fedora 40). That's however not the group the GNOME image uses. it uses the group workstation-product-environment.

sudo dnf install @workstation-product-environment will install this. See the Fedora Asahi Remix KDE kiwi-descriptions for the KDE groups which could be uninstalled.

Tryed before with no luck (perhaps typo etc), but fine if it is now there. I moved to Sway so that's for me best now.
