AUX audio is degraded on Asahi Linux Fedora Remix #247

Hello,

I have noticed that Asahi Linux seems to have degraded audio quality compared to MacOS through the in-built AUX port, when compared directly with Apple using various of methods such as direct FLAC playback or streaming through YouTube the audio quality seems to be objectively worse on Asahi Linux.

You can notice obvious lack of "detail" and audio overall sounding more muffled on high-end headphones (Sennheiser HD650) and I've also observed abnormal distortion on higher volumes that does not happen on MacOS, I am not familiar with Linux internals nor how audio is handled within Linux but I do have some uneducated guess, which would boil down to Asahi Linux not handling impedance properly (refer to: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212856)

I am only speculating here, and I am not even sure if this is the root cause but it's something that I believe could be the reason for this, but if it happens to be true that Asahi Linux does not register impedance properly it would mean the AUX gets less power than it needs to drive high-end Headphones properly so they are actually at least listenable.

I am posting this because this is an issue that has been annoying me for a long time and I lack the technical ability to fix it myself, so I would be hoping to hear some responses for potential solutions to my issue, thank you.
