Looking at the code, I think I may have merged something incorrectly, but the only way to have triggered that situation is it was if a line in the log said "INFO: No specified modes". Was that in your log?

ghost commented 3 years ago

Sorry - don't know.

I copied the parts that I thought were important, but the app has been run again since so I can no longer check.

skovatch commented 3 years ago

Does it happen with other episodes?

ghost commented 3 years ago

Yes, but not consistently.

Happy to do anything that will help to debug. I'm not desperate to download this film, so am ok with abandoning it if needs be.

@Moisie2000 Can you turn on verbose mode (General panel of the preferences) and try again? Also, what is 'rtmptvopts'? I don't think that's related to this problem, just odd.

Moisie2000 commented 2 years ago

@skovatch Thanks for the suggestions. I followed the verbose logs and found it wasn't finding any URLs for this film - and looking on the iPlayer site, it appears they've taken it down already. I don't know if that was the cause of the problem originally or not, but I can't now attempt to reproduce it!

Also, what is 'rtmptvopts'? I don't think that's related to this problem, just odd.

I think this must have been left over from an old GiA version - I've been using it for a long time... I've removed this line from my options file now.
