Ascoware / get-iplayer-automator

The goal of Get iPlayer Automator is to allow iTunes and your Mac to become the hub for your British Television experience regardless of where in the world you are. Currently, Get iPlayer Automator allows you to download and watch BBC and ITV shows on your Mac. Series-Link/PVR functionality ensures you will never miss your favourite shows. Programmes are fully tagged and added to iTunes automatically upon completion. It is simple and easy to use, and runs on any machine running Mac OS X 10.7 or later. And since the shows are in iTunes, it is extremely easy to transfer them to your iPod, iPhone, or Apple TV allowing you to enjoy your shows on the go or on your television.

"Programme Page Not Found" with Chrome (1.21.3.b20210315002 onwards) #320

Since 1.21.3.b20210315002 "Use Current Webpage" no longer works with Chrome giving me "Programme Page Not Found" message box.

No issues with Safari.

Reverting to the previous version (1.21.2.b20210301001) fixes this.

Tested with all preference/settings files deleted, clean run.

@AbsenceJam Did you check this https://github.com/Ascoware/get-iplayer-automator/issues/312#issuecomment-801461962 ? And also this https://github.com/Ascoware/get-iplayer-automator/issues/312#issuecomment-803013117 ?

Ah yes, checked "Allow Javascript from Apple Events" in Chrome and it works. Yet it also works without needing that checked in the earlier version of this program so it seems like a regression?

Wondering if I'm missing some crucial thing here. This problem has existed for me for a few versions now - nothing will fix it. I'm on Chrome Version 89.0.4389.90.

The 'Allow Javascript from Apple Events' setting just doesn't seem to do anything, at least in this version. It's not 'checkable' in the menu.

Also re: the 2nd link, the 'Automation' item simply doesn't exist for me in System Prefs/Security & Privacy/Privacy.

I'm on High Sierra.

Any help would be great.
