File naming issue (ITV) with GIA version 1.21.9 (20210423001) #329

I downloaded four ITV programmes today which were preceded by three BBC programmes (which downloaded OK):

"Auto Mundial": Series 2, Episode 15 "Too Close": Series 1, Episodes 1, 2 and 3

"Auto Mundial" downloaded OK. "Too Close" all episodes downloaded as hidden files - the filenames started with a "." (period).

Environment Details: GIA version 1.21.9 (20210423001) - new update installed immediately prior to the session OS X version 11.2.3 Browser: Safari I used "Use Current Webpage" to register all four programmes into GIA (although "Auto Mundial" is registered in my PVR but that tends not to pick the show till later in the day). "Too Close" was not picked up by the PVR function during downloading the BBC programmes.

This is part of the log: Downloading Auto Mundial: Series 2 INFO: Preparing Request for Auth Info INFO: Metadata processed. youtube-dl finished downloading No thumbnail URL, skipping INFO: No thumbnail downloaded WARN: AtomicParsley key: --artwork, value: nil INFO: Beginning AtomicParsley Tagging. INFO: AtomicParsley Tagging finished. INFO: Converting Subtitles... INFO: Converting to SubRip: /Users/bob/Movies/TV Shows/Auto Mundial/Auto Mundial.s02e15.Episode 15.en.vtt INFO: Conversion to SubRip complete: /Users/bob/Movies/TV Shows/Auto Mundial/Auto Mundial.s02e15.Episode 15.srt

Downloading Show 4/6:

Downloading INFO: Preparing Request for Auth Info INFO: Metadata processed. youtube-dl finished downloading No thumbnail URL, skipping INFO: No thumbnail downloaded WARN: AtomicParsley key: --artwork, value: nil INFO: Beginning AtomicParsley Tagging. INFO: AtomicParsley Tagging finished. INFO: Converting Subtitles... You can see the programme name is missing and the series/episode information has been used for the filename - this was the same for all three episodes. This did not occur with "Auto Mundial"

As per everyone else, thanks very much for the great work, we are very indebted to you.

Thanks, Bob

I see the problem... Too Close wasn't in the cache, so the default behavior is to start up get_iplayer to fetch metadata, but that doesn't work for ITV shows. When that fails the program metadata gets wiped out. It's a simple fix, but I don't have a workaround for you at the moment. I'll try pushing an update in the next day or so.
