Failed ITV Download #353

Max OS 10.14.6, GIA 1.21.12 Trying to download Grantchester S6E1, keep getting continous error messages about "Invalid Timestamp stream 1", verbose log in attached file. GIA Failed ITV Download log.docx

Those errors indicate that youtube-dl had to delegate the download to ffmpeg. As annoying as those messages are it should download anyway. I'm not entirely sure why that happens. I think it happens on M1 laptops because the unix tools haven't been compiled into the new architecture, but if you are on 10.14 that's not the case here.

I am still experiencing issues downloading ITV programmes. Not sure if i missed the fix but here are the details.

Mac OS 10.13.6 Mac Mini 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 - GIA 1.21.12 Trying to download any ITV programme is failing. BBC is fine. I tried different versions without any success. Any assistance gladly received.

This looks like a new issue with ITV. YouTube-dl doesn’t like the response it got, so it’s likely a recent change on ITV’s side. Can you please open a new bug?
