I am having multiple problems with downloading BBC sSounds programs which have different PIDs but the same show name and sam Episode name though different date. Is there any way to avoid this problem? Errors show up as :- Screenshot 2021-10-10 at 15 15 51 Screenshot 2021-10-10 at 15 17 47 The BBC seem to be using repeat and cycling episode names on items such as Jazz Record Requests.

This is a new one on me -- thanks for the report. get_iplayer is reporting that the file already exists, so Get iPlayer Automator is passing along the error.

get_iplayer gives you a number of options for filename generation, so I think using the program ID will solve this. Currently GiA uses the download mode in the filename. This doesn't seem that useful to me, but I suppose if you wanted to compare version quality you might want to download multiple versions of the same show. I can have it use both.

It happens a lot with BBC Radio shows. A simple solution could be to add the broadcast date and/or PID in the filename. If you need to test the feature, the show Radio 1's Power Down Playlist with Sian Eleri will be useful as they seem to re-use the same name again and again.
