I've been able to trigger this behavior with other add-ons or combinations of add-ons (uMatrix, for example), on different operating systems. What add-ons trigger this behavior seem to vary with the operating system as well. It may be a browser-side issue, but I don't know enough to say for sure yet. I'll keep testing on my end and see what else comes up.

Seems to be resolved with aa2d759360fccbb8f0c24f05a5825def19c91805. Moral of the story: don't muck with UI or gBrowser until the window has fully loaded!
