Description

The player encounters a very strange Shuckle (super large, shiny variant? idk) that appears to have a very large stash of Shuckle Juice next to it, emanating power. It extends its feelers in your direction. It seems like it wants to touch you, but what might happen if it does?

• [ ] Let it touch you
  • You black out. When you wake up, the Shuckle is gone, and the Juice stash is completely drained. Lower the BST of highest BST Pokemon in party by 20 in each stat, then increase the BST of every other Pokemon in the party by 10 per stat.
• [ ] Battle the Shuckle
  • You have to fight the SUPER SHUCKLE as a boss (uncatchable)
  • It has 5 boss segments, and starts the fight with +2 Def/+2 SpDef
  • It is Bold Nature, Its moveset is Infestation, Salt Cure, Gastro Acid, Heal Order
  • It uses Stealth Rock and Gastro Acid for "free" at the start of the fight
  • Rewards could include a Soul Dew

Explanation/Notes on Design

Faustian bargain choice that discourages leaning on a single legendary carry for an entire run. The lore around this is related to Power Trick/Power Split/Guard Split shenanigans.
