Deadline does not accept "/" #1

When adding a deadline, I think there will be cases in which I have a deadline with a description that has a "/". However, the program does not allow this.

Team's Response

In the user guide, we have mentioned that command parameter should not be used in item descriptions. Instead of using '/' you may want to change it to 'or'. Snipaste_2020-11-15_17-16-40.png

Reason for disagreement: Although I do recognise that it is stated in the UG, but as a feature I think it should be able to accept /.

If a user wanted to enter a word like character/s, it would not make much sense to write character or characters especially since this is a CLI-First app, where the user should not be wasting time with an alternative route.
