Clouds not working with some shaders #355

Open IndieAS opened 1 year ago

IndieAS commented 1 year ago

What happened?

In my case, when using Sildur's Enhanced Default, and several other shaderpacks that rely on vanilla clouds, they simply do not show up. It seems that Iris has already patched this with version 1.1.1: "- Fixed vanilla clouds not rendering in packs that use them."

It would be great to see this fixed with Oculus, as I am unsure if a new version of forge or the mod broke this, but I would love to have my clouds again. Thanks!

I ran into the exact same problem with Sildur's Enhanced Default today.

This exact problem seems to be persistent in shader packs with a "Vanilla Clouds" option such as BSL, unfortunately, it seems to be quite a prominent problem in packs that rely on vanilla clouds as the post says. hoping this gets fixed.

This is still an issue with Oculus mc1.19.2-1.6.9 but has been fixed with Oculus mc1.20.1-1.6.9

Would be nice to see the fix backported to 1.19.2.
