Issue With Notes Left On Top Of Storage Chest - Game Breaking #12
I have a feeling this is a bug that is part of the original game code, not part of or caused by the patch, but I figured I would bring it up in case you ever plan to update your patch again it could potentially be addressed at that time.
If one reads the note from Katrina that appears on top of the storage chest in the hotel room asking to meet the player character at the town gate at night for the second time after returning Tanya to the village Katrina never appears in front of the town for that second meeting. The next note asking you to come to the castle gate, which is required to trigger the end game scenario, also never appears. Apparently they never expected anyone to not read the note concerning the second meeting in front of the town gate before rescuing Tanya, and it somehow causes the trigger for the next note to malfunction.
I triggered this bug because the note to meet Katrina for the second time appeared just before I was going to return Tanya, not knowing the contents of the note, I decided to read it once I returned Tanya. I did this and then absolutely nothing happened. I progressed the game several days and Katrina never appeared for the second meeting in front of the town gate, and the next note never appeared either.
If desired, I can provide a save before returning Tanya, after she is returned, as well as before and after reading the second note subsequent to rescuing Tanya if it would make tracking the bug down easier.
