Apologies & State of the Plugin #87

Just wanted to stop in and say sorry for the lack of updates. It turns out the demand for the features a plugin such as this can provide was way beyond anything I would have thought possible. This is my first plugin and all the attention overwhelmed me a lot but I am ready to start tackling these issues head on.

With the start of the new year I hope to get this project back into a stable state and get 3.0 out of the door ASAP. I am still at my relatives for holiday vacation so I won't begin work until I get back home, which will be in about a week from now. I will also commit to a more stable timeframe of fixing / delivering support, as well as providing feedback as to how the progress is going through some type of blog.

I would like to say thank you to anyone patient enough to stick with me on this. I have received a lot of questions and issues regarding how to use the plugin as well as many people who want to extend their help in providing support. I wanted to let you know I will get back to you once I can create a plan of action.

Could you integrate the IRC channel i suggested here https://github.com/McPants/jquery.shapeshift/issues/105 into some main documentations? like Readme or the wiki? Then we could start helping each other and reduce your stress :)
