Suggestion: Customizable status bar #5

A way to configure and change elements of the status bar, like adding temperature, gps accuracy, battery percentage, and more 2022-07-20-19-41-10 ( A concept I made by editing the system app html )

It would be cool if we could implement a quick and easy way to change icon "themes" for all system apps, and a way for 3rd party applications to know the theme and potentially support it

I also modified a lot of the KaiOS Team Utility/Stock apps, including a radio app that doesn't close if there aren't headphones (it still works a little without headphones on the 800t, even if it doesn't detect an internal antenna), a modified weather app without ads, that could be included as stock apps https://github.com/Delta-Applications/firmware/ (the repo is a bit messy)

I'd also prefer talking over the KaiOS Discord, if you are in there, this is really cool

good ideas. Could you explain how you changed the status bar, and maybe even upload the files you edited?

You'll want to experiment with the #statusbar element in the system.gaiamobile.org app. I can't seem to find the modified file right now, but you can check out the gaia-icons font, which has all the icons used in KaiOS, and can be used to replace icons in the statusbar

I can do it, but it would be difficult for me to understand exactly how it works. If you can contribute the changes you have already made - better. Maybe back it up using adb pull from your device?
