Slow Sync #666

Syncing seems to take longer than it should. I say this because I was trying another RSS app, NewsFlash, and, on that app, the sync occured in less than 1 second, and was refleced immediately on the server. On ReadYou The "syncing..." process takes at least 10 seconds.

Syncing seems to really take its time on my Pixel 8 Pro as well. I've 80+ sources and have to wait for 15-20 seconds for the sync to finish. As a workaround, I let ReadYou sync items every hour or so in the background.

Also experiencing slow sync to my freshrss instance when using read you. Not happening on any other client.

Would it be possible to call an endpoint so that only new items are fetched after initial sync?

I also use my Freshrss instance and now have about 200000 archived items in ReadYou. It takes about 7 minutes to finish the sync, and sometime it never finished. When I press the sync icon and then switch to another app, there is a extremely high chance (about 9/10) the sync will fail.

Maybe only sync unread items…
