Disabling the swipe won't completely disable the animation #821

Device: Pixel 7
OS: Android 14
APP: 0.10.1

2. Describe the bug

The reason I chose to disable the left/right swipe is because it was accidentally triggering the swipe. But even if I disable it, it still triggers the animation (making the item move slightly to the left or right), which interrupts the scrolling behaviour.

I cannot believe this does not get more attention by other users. Is it really just us @coxde , who have UX issues here? It is really such a bummer that every second or third swipe up or down is hijacked by this animation. Such a beautiful app, but this makes it really hard to love. No offense to the developer(s) though, everything else is just splendid, all I could ever hope for in an honest community driven open source RSS reader. Keep up the good work. And remove this animation hehe
