The Problem:
A very frequent question which has been asked is regarding the use of Siege Specialist's rank 2 talent Impact and its interaction with Ordnance weapons. Ordnance weapons cannot be used against adjacent targets and cannot be used if the user has already moved that turn. Impact seems to occur in a strange place where it occurs immediately after declaring your intention to attack, but before the attack itself happens. As a result, it's unclear how this interacts with the Ordnance tag or in fact how it's meant to interact with it.
The Solution:
As stated here, Tom has said that the intent is that Siege Specialist 2 is meant to allow use with Ordnance weapons in terms of the movement being permitted, and that this is a candidate for errata.
What is less clear, and may need to be conferred with him, is if it is also intended to allow someone with an Ordnance weapon to use it to make attacks against adjacent targets by utilizing the movement the talent applies to move sufficiently far from that target that they are no longer adjacent and the attack is now legal.
