RANDOM FREEZE MOVEMENT #2

Hi

I try 1.01 version but continue freeze movement character. A seconds after, movement back but it is bad with combats, for example

Can you provide me with more information? Does the freezing appear to be related with any inputs? Does it go away with or without pressing any buttons on your controller? Hardware specs? What headset are you using? Are you using OpenVR or OpenXR? etc.

Hi

In general freeze is random and when a few seconds move again. I think I move again to push some button and I dont Know button is.

My computer is I7 13 Generation, 32 Gb Ram, GPU 4090 RTX

Headset is Meta Quest 3

Use Open XR

Hi, just want to confirm if v1.01 is indeed installed correctly as I am unable to reproduce this issue. Do you sprint when holding left grip? (This was added in v1.01)

Yes, correct installed. Delete previous version of Unreal Engine and use Unreal Engine Nightly

1) Can you zip up the contents of your installed profile (located in \AppData\Roaming\UnrealVRMod\SystemReShock-Win64-Shipping) and email the file to me at ashok0@gmail.com? I would like to see if I can replicate your freezing issue.

2) I also added an experimental freeze fix to the mod, see attached. Let me know if this helps. SystemReShock-Win64-Shipping.zip

Hi, thanks for the video. Note that movement is frozen when you touch your right thumbrest as this is used for Dpad. This is not a bug and simply a feature of UEVR. To disable Dpad from freezing movement, open the UEVR overlay, select Input, and untick "Dpad Shifting". Closing this issue for now as I believe your issue should be solved.
