svn error when trying to get the source #61

What steps will reproduce the problem?
From the command line, type:
svn checkout http://conque.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ conque-read-only

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of seeing the standard svn checkout output, you see:
svn: OPTIONS of 'http://conque.googlecode.com/svn/trunk': Could not read status 
line: connection was closed by server (http://conque.googlecode.com)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS X 10.6.8
svn, version 1.6.17 (r1128011) (compiled Aug 18 2011, 00:12:26)

I'm unable to reproduce this with OS X 10.6.8 and svn 1.6.16.

I'm using the subversion hosting which comes built into Google Code. If you're 
still unable to to connect, take a look at Google's FAQ. It sounds like network 
issues to me.
