Extraction is making nonsense or im an idiot #37

Whenever I extract one of my CIA's, I end up with a bunch of stuff like "DecryptedExeFS.bin", "DecryptedExHeader.bin", "DecryptedManual.bin", "DecryptedRomFS.bin", "HeaderNCCH0.bin", "HeaderNCCH1.bin", "LogoLZ.bin", and "PlainRGN.bin". None of the folders mentioned are made. I have tried with both Pokémon Y and Pokémon Omega Ruby. I have obtained these files myself on my 3ds, and I am typing in CE because I am using a .CIA file. I don't know if I should be using a .3DS file, or how to even get a .3DS file. What program on my 3DS should I be using to obtain the CIA's? Please help me, and thanks in advance.

did you say yes to extracting the .bin files?

turtleisaac commented 6 years ago

i dont think i saw an option for that

my bad I mixed up what that option did, the program should extract folders by default these are the files and folders you should end up with, but I don't know anything about versions 10-12 because of the lack of compatibility with decrypted roms I personally use version 9 for that reason alone original alpha sapphire files
