5 years ago Did you get a bunch of bin files when extracting? if so, use v9. The file mismatch... I dont know about that one, didnt happen to me, are you using cia, cxi or 3ds files? If not, then find a converter (if you are sure that the game you are trying to extract is truly a game for the 3ds(i dont know if it comes in any other format))to convert the files into any one of those three formats. The game could also be corrupted or the file just isnt for the 3ds. Then If you encounter any problems similiar to mine (or if you know how to solve them), please visit my thread, so we can mourn our dear 3ds files together! If i got this completely wrong and if the extraction did give you romfs and exefs files, then i am just dumb. I just tought i could contribute to this since i got the banner and icon files as bin when the extraction didnt work. I am not that familiar with programming (since my school curiculum doesnt offer much)so please point out any mistakes!
When using the app. B1. It reports that it has extracted. But there is nothing there. Sometimes it will delete the banner.bin file. When I manually use the command to extract the banner.bin file I get an error: “error: the file type is mismatch” I removed the extension also and still get the error. Has anyone else had this issue or know a better solution to extract banner and icon.bin
