I believe this relies on the object system being completed so that the grass system can be utilized. Currently it does not support modifying existing grass that appears by default on the map, and replacing such by script would be far too big of an undertaking and utilize too much memory to currently be feasible. It will, however, be able to remove added grass objects with a custom placement.
The grass system tests need to be completed, and the finalized code needs to be made.
