The Hardware Support page^1 and matrix^2 show that the beluga watch has 'Good' NFC support.
The wiki^3 shows that NFC is currently disabled due to interference with the display, which is in accordance with the change by: https://github.com/AsteroidOS/meta-smartwatch/issues/210
