It works on macos with an unsigned/unverified app (not packaged with a dev key; dev key untested). The needed jarLocation is <pathToAppFile>/AstroImageJ.app/Contents/Resources. Possibly bugged and overwriting all other files/plugins within this location (other internal AIJ files); however, I have been unable to reproduce this since.

Basic checking for correct path added in 723c3e70a80daea7c52c4ef026d827722d91d33e
