I see. Are you using a url or custom image for your background. It might have something to do with a high resolution. Try turning down the blur and see if that changes things.
I didn't change the URL - it's the one that comes preset. But that shouldn't cause the constant high gpu usage, should it?
You're right, it shouldn't. I'm not at my computer for now so I'll get back to you on this.
Did you try reducing the blur?
I did, that's not doing anything. Even when I disable Blur completely, Spotify uses like 96% of the AMD GPU.
+1 on this issue, same for me

Hey, sorry for opening this again. Guess I found what was the problem: the smooth-progress-bar snippet.... When I install it, GPU usage goes above 60% constantly (AMD Internal Graphics). With Hazy alone, GPU usage drops below 1% if nothing is moving.
Seems like if you use any mods on spotify that move images or create very smooth moving elements they just use a lot of GPU.. shame really
Theme is running on the inbuilt GPU from the Ryzen 9 5900HX in my Notebook. Spotify's GPU usage with this theme is constantly above 80% - even when there's nothing that "moves" behind the Blur.
