Yes, it's not complicated, but we should consider the question in which form the article (full, some shortened, only metadata etc.) should be accessible via the link. I'm sure, the archives are not very happy with the idea of distributing their data in the full format. Do you need these links for internal or external purposes?
Thanks, Andrei. I think we should treat technical and legal issues separately, if possible. As long as the prototype is not available publicly there should be no legal problems (the URLs leading to the password protected prototype) but it would help us to reference internally, with finding stuff back etc. I am thinking of something like the perma-URL's in Voyant Tools. Bookmarks or an individual 'research space' where you can save individual articles or visualisations might be another possibility!? Talking about items for the wishlist only, obviously ;)
Best Uli

Ok, you want to have in your personal area a list of shortcuts to keep track of your research? Sure, we can do it.
Thanks, Andrei! Not immediately pressing obviously, but would be good ;)

Dear Andrei, something for the wishlist: perma-urls for individual articles for referencing purposes (e.g. allowing an article to be referenced by http://goog.le/XyZ12 rather then with title, newspaper name, volume & page nos. etc. and something similar for any given visualisation would be great! Best, Uli
