This is partially addressed by adding a new config option called players-keep-inventory-on-pvp
, when set to true
it will force players to keep inventory when they die to pvp. When set to false
, it will force players to drop inventory when they die to pvp.
Description: Create a PVP Tagging system with a configurable timeout. Player attacks Player - Both are tagged for PVP. Player attacks NPC/Mob - Not tagged for PVP. If tagged for PVP you drop your loot upon death. If tagged for PVP you are not safe within No-PVP enabled Towns. Tagged players should also drop their loot if they disconnect while tagged.
Additionally, allowing Non-PVP Tagged players to attack PVP Tagged players within a Non-PVP enabled area. Attacking players would then be PVP Tagged as well.
Purpose: Removes PVP Hopping as an option. Also creates a system where players would not lose gear when grinding against boss NPCs, but if a player runs into a grinding area while PVP tagged and the NPC kills them, they would still lose their gear to the other player.
