TrueHD bitstreaming causes dropped frames. #131

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Describe the issue you're having: When playing back Batman VC-1/TrueHD Bluray
rip the frames drop when truehd bitstreaming is enabled. If I de-select truehd
bitstreaming, the movie plays fine without dropped frames. The audio comes in
as multichannel PCM to my onkyo SR607 reciever.

How can the issue be reproduced? Sample File? asasadad_1 uploaded a sample file
on page 340 of doom9 forums.

What version of the product are you using? In which Player? 0.38 LAV, latest
MPC-HC 32bit, madvr. Using preferred LAV splitter, audio and video decoders.

Please provide any additional information below.

Bitstreaming requires much stricter timings, its certainly possible that there
are dropped frames due to that, but there is nothing i can do.

Okay I did some more testing. Originally, the movie was in a m2ts container. I
extracted the streams and put them into a MKV container. That seemed to have
fixed the issue. I'll try to re-encode the same streams into another m2ts
container to see if the original m2ts container was flawed.
