Thumbnailing fails if a sub is loaded

Describe the issue you're having:
Windows 7 always fail to generate thumbnails for mkv and ts files if subtitle 
is enabled in lav splitter and subtitle meet condition and gets loaded.
In ffdshow, even with its internal subtitle disabled, thumbnailing never fails.

How can the issue be reproduced? Sample File?
Clear icon cache then try any mkv file that has a subtitle and make sure it 
loads a subtitle.

What version of the product are you using? In which Player?
lav splitter and video from latest git in windows 7 and some thumbnail reg 
hacks.

Please provide any additional information below.
Thumbnailing works just fine once I disable subtitles in lav splitter.

Additional small observation, in Windows XP lav thumbnailing never fails, even 
with subs enabled and loaded.

Windows XP and Windows 7 actually both exhibit the same problem the same way. I 
just misconfigured lav filters in XP.

Subtitles will now be disabled when the thumbnailer is active. Tested on Win7, 
at least.
